Humanity Hand Association Releases an Updated Humanitarian Situation Report on the Gaza Strip

Implementing Organization: Humanity Hand Association for Relief and Solidarity

As part of its continuous monitoring of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, Humanity Hand Association for Relief and Solidarity has released an updated humanitarian situation report highlighting the most pressing challenges and urgent needs affecting displaced and conflict-affected communities across the Gaza Strip.

The report covers key humanitarian sectors, including food security, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), healthcare, shelter, protection, and the needs of children, women, older persons, and people with disabilities.

Field assessments indicate that thousands of families continue to require essential food assistance, safe drinking water, medicines and medical supplies, hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, and emergency shelter after losing their homes or being forced to flee.

Within the WASH sector, many communities continue to experience limited access to safe drinking water due to damaged water infrastructure, fuel shortages, and the inability to operate wells and desalination plants. These conditions significantly increase the risk of waterborne diseases and deteriorating public health.

The healthcare sector remains under severe pressure because of the growing number of patients and injured people, combined with shortages of medicines, medical consumables, and essential equipment. Families also require access to primary healthcare, psychosocial support services, and treatment for people living with chronic illnesses.

The report includes field information covering approximately [ ] locations and assesses the humanitarian needs of around [ ] affected families and individuals.

Humanity Hand Association will use the findings of this assessment to identify intervention priorities, design humanitarian projects based on verified needs, and direct available resources to the most vulnerable communities.

The Association reaffirms its commitment to coordinating with field teams, local partners, and supporting organizations to deliver timely and effective humanitarian assistance that helps alleviate suffering and strengthens community resilience.
